It looks like a Rohn 55 tower. Of course, I could not put the whole thing up at my residence. Does anyone think I would have trouble selling the unused sections,or...maybe a new mountain top site?
I know were this is located. If I purchased it, I would go and pick it up. I might get out bid so I am not going to get worked up too much.
Hi Fred, I think you could sell the rest and make your money back. How much would you use? If the price is right I would like some of it also. Lets see, if you used 100 feet, then sold the rest for $25.00 a section (if it's Rohn 55) then you could make out and pay to pick it up and the cost of the tower. 73 Russ-KG4MAV U.S. Navy retired, woodworker extraordinaire, student, avid reader, Enjoying life! Russ, I am trying to find someone in the Richmond area to go out and look at the tower. I might be wrong about it being a Rohn 55. I was under the impression that a tower light was not available for the 45, but, after looking at the light, I think the mount may be fabricated. I might have to go and look at it, especially for rust.
