The Image Gallery has been updated recently. Users registered to the Image Gallery will be able to create albums and upload images in their own folder and the W4CA Events folder. Please make sure the images are added to the correct event. In addition, only the person who uploads an image can change move or delete an image. (Moderators also have these options in the event a picture is inapropriate or put in the wrong folder).

There are now several options for adding images that work well. You can load them one at a time, or several at once. My preferred method is the "Windows Publishing Wizard" which actually works quite well. Simply download the file indicated and follow directions to install. Then simply open the folder where your pictures are on your computer, and click the "publish this file/folder to the internet" option, follow the prompts selecting the directory to put the images and select file resize (uncheck to keep the file size the same).

One thing to note, if you get any errors while uploading an image, then chances are the image is too large. It must be less than 2000 pixels on the longest side or it will not generate the thumbnails and resized image properly. So go ahead and load up all those pics you've been storing for years, and let everyone else enjoy them too!
